Jihadis reflect on the Austin, TX attack*

They seem to have confused the IRS and the CIA - nevertheless, you may be sure they learned the important lesson, namely that even a small aircraft loaded with fuel can destroy a reasonably large building.

* I regard the incident as a clear case of single-issue domestic terrorism, most likely of the lone wolf variety. There is nothing in either the statute or in any reasonable definition of terrorism that requires the perpetrator to be part of an organization. Terrorism is largely about intent and targeting, and this incident had both. Whether Mr. Stack was a left-wing nut or a right-wing nut or just a wingnut hardly matters. It is noteworthy, however, that he was orphaned at an early age and was known for both a severe temper and for the inclination to allow grievances to build up and boil over. I've read his "manifesto" and detect more than a little paranoia as well.
