RICIN!!!!

Now, everybody be calm. It happens from time to time that instructions for making the poison ricin from the beans of the Castor plant are circulated on jihadi forums.

This is one of those times:

What I find interesting is that the author of the instructions used what look like screenshots from a video to illustrate his document, and in that video the castor beans - after being soaked in some sort of liquid - are poured out onto a copy of the old Survivalist rag The Survivor.

The bad news is that the Castor Bean plant grows as a weed - having escaped from cultivation - all over the Middle East.

The good news is that copies of The Survivor are likely to be almost impossible to come by in that part of the world.
