"MI5 report challenges views on terrorism in Britain"

The Guardian leaked an MI5 analysis of radicalisation.

The following statement is true...

"Sophisticated analysis says there is no single pathway to violent extremism"

...as far as it goes. However this quickly becomes an excuse for defeatism, particularly in the hands of people who in their heart of hearts actually want the bad guys to win.

In fact there is a profile. It's just not demographic. It is behavioral. And many of those behaviors manifest themselves in ways and in places that enable us to detect emerging threats.
