Internet Archive vs. YouTube, 19 August 2007 to 24 August 2007

In late August of 2007, during a time when many prominent jihadi forums were suffering from efforts to drive them offline, I collected 351 pages of active discussions from 7 sites. Figure 1 illustrates the findings, comparing the number of files found that were uploaded to Internet Archive as opposed to YouTube. As it says in Ecclesiastes, there is not much new under the sun. Internet Archive was as popular then with jihadis as it is now:
