Mourning the loss of al-Andalus

It's a simple little tale. A wandering Muslim missionary arrives at an isolated village in the Philippines, where he is greeted warmly, as they are sorely in need of his teaching. A young girl of the village has written a poem which she reads for him, and it is a poem mourning the loss of al-Andalus, i.e. Spain. The lesson being: if at the farthest reaches of the Muslim world a child can mourn for al-Andalus, then how much more should those Muslims who live so much closer to al-Andalus care, and how much harder should they try to hasten the reconquest of this "Muslim land."
